Textiles exhibition

Local artists working in media such as silk painting, machine embroidery, felting and knitting make a tactile and imaginative display. Some of our wonderful textile artists also volunteer at the galley and their work is on sale in the shop.

Mid year

Volunteers Exhibition

We also hold an exhibition each year to showcase the work of our talented volunteers, many of whom are artists. This is exhibition does not have a fixed date but is generally held in the middle of the year.

Every year we get to see how our talented young artists are developing in an exuberant display of many media.

South Gippsland Secondary College VCE Arts & Technology

Final year students display their assessment work. Each year their creativity and flair seems stronger than the last.

Foster Photography Club

The Photography Club meets once a month for discussion, sharing of ideas, in-house competitions and guest speakers. Regular outings to local scenic spots and events result in a fabulous exhibition each year for three weeks including Cup Weekend.

Every Second Year

Small Sculpture Prize

Held for the first time in 2009, the second sculpture prize competition will be run at Stockyard Gallery in May 2011.
