Lynne Muir

Lynne Muir has been a freelance book designer and illustrator for about 30 years. Her illustrative style emphasises details, colour and pattern. SInce the 1980s she has also explored calligraphy, studying at first the medieval techniques of illumination using gold leaf and gouche, moving on to the study of European and Persian scripts. She now includes in her original designs watercolours, oils, cupric metals (artificial metals), ink on paper, canvas and wood.

Lynne works mostly at Waratah North but travels to Melvourne for commissioned work and to sing in the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra Chorus.
